Again this is silly, There are many smart people who saw the bubble implosion coming(Buffet). They just didnt get play on CNBC. The COT which were big institutional traders shorted the whole move down. SO in essence people new, but didnt bother to tell joe 6pac. Their huge short of spoos at record levels was public knowledge. The yield curve inversion was a nother big clue as well. The signs were there the greedy ignored them.
