Jeff:
Well I hope I didn't set the wheels in motion for this (cheap) buyout with my post of April 11 (#365). :-) I do think the company is worth more and would have sold for better than $15.50/share in the open market after their next quarterly announcement...my portfolio wouldn't consist of 100% AALR shares at $10.75 avg buying price if I didn't believe this.
Although I was hoping for better than $15.50/share, I'm not unhappy...because I'm not unhappy with the immediate profit. But like Jeff, I will probably hold and see if any better offers come up, or see if speculators drive the price higher on better takeover rumors...it really is a steal at $15.50/share. CPQ? HWP? IBM? DELL? MUEI? Wanna stop GTW from taking over the server market? :-)
