Also added in the drama- a doctor talking about the woman he treated - a pianist who lived for her music- and how he took it away from her- forbade her to play. A perfect comparison to Guaspari, whose life revolved around her art. I had a vocal coach who was the most incredible artist I've ever met- she understood music on some level I will never achieve and I've studied all my life. My diction teacher said of her, Most of us would be depressed, sad, directionless without our music, but we would go on. Kathleen is different; I don't think she could live if you took her voice from her. She would cease to exist.
