12:15 ET Rambus (RMBS) 8.05 +0.68: -- Update -- CNET reporting that the release of Intel's (INTC) 845 chipset in about two weeks will allow PC makers to combine Pentium 4 processors with SDRAM, instead of Rambus' RDRAM. Article, which was posted 45 minutes ago, suggests that using SDRAM will cut $150-200 off the retail price of a PC, and thus be much more popular.
