I guess that makes me a hypocrite too because I made some money trading HAL stock even though I am 99% against Cheney's policies. No my friend, stock trading is legal, and brokers for politicians of both parties do it for a living, and when techs are collapsing and there's an energy crisis (fake or not) going smart brokres should be playing the game. And that's a ridiculous idea the broker calls the Senator for approvals on $10,000 executions. Your imagination maybe. Like my parents broker, they trade on their own after you sign over those rights to them and their sole aim is to make a profit. Also, as you can see from Boxer's voting record and strong stances, she has been totally against abuses by the energy cartel. But doesn't mean she nor I nor Ralph Nader can't trade energy stocks.

Compare this to the 100 billion gouging the Bush-Cheney backed Energy Cartel took out our national hide (stealing our tax break, surplus and the election in the process) and you can see it's just another tiny deflective detail dreamt up by right-wing spin doctors to try and steer blame away from themselves. Like "Oxy Al". I notice you seem to have no concern about the White House insiders being THE ONES who engineered this massive fraud on the US public. Nothing wrong with that, right? So illegal or not it doesn't matter to you so long as they're Republicans. Unfortunately for you they ripped off YOUR money as well as the rest of ours.
