Electricity savings would pay for the "brains" over the life of a lamp.

I reduced my electric bill by 66% (yes to 1/3 of what it was previously) by installing $600 worth (total installed cost) of smart thermostats, timers and outside air thermostat overrides...payback was a few months since one monthly bill was $825 before installing the system. What energy crisis???? The savings potential is enormous!
