I am no expert, other than in the things I like, and even then I sometimes wonder... As for the painting and her arm, I have been looking at it and I do not see what you see. Perhaps, the fact that her right arms is extended, (as opposed to the left one which is bent over her own chest), and also part of her right arm is covered by her robe. These elements could create what you see. Just a thought. I love this painting, well, most all of Tiziano's painting I do.
