That's the rub. It does no good to meet demand that exists at price points where no one can make any profits. Sort of like AMZN has been meeting the robust demand for books and other commodities, at prices below cost. As prices approach zero, demand approaches infinity. But this is fake "demand", a temporary situation created by unsustainable trends (overleverage, overbuilding, etc.).

How fast will telecom demand grow, at prices where the telecom service providers can service their immense debts, and provide a decent return for investors?
