That may be an overly optimistic way of looking at it, but I do think this means very good things for Intel. If they actually execute and launch products based on the features demonstrated today, it may be just what they need to get back the perception of market leader.

You know, a lot has suddenly become clear to me. With IBM and Micron dumping AMD in various market segments, now I know why. The AMD investors couldn't figure it out, and came up with lame excuses about how AMD didn't need these OEMs in the first place. But now it's clear that these OEMs have known about these technologies under NDA, and they dumped AMD because they don't have similar competing technology.
