It goes back to the communicability. And maybe you aren't in a situation where you are going to be exposed in a meaningful way to the virus, but there are a bunch of healthcare workers out there who are, as well as law enforcement and other emergency workers (fire fighters, EMTs). I bet that the healthcare workers don't worry too much about a needle stick if asthma is all the person has...or even cancer. And maybe you are at more of a risk than you think... Might I suggest that you don't have the mushroom soup (watch the movie "Fight Club" to understand the meaning there).
