Ted, threaders, CNBC just had a little blurb about AMD planning to come out with an ad campaign in the fourth quarter saying Megahertz isn't everything; their processors do some things faster regardless, etc. Tony, yeah, CNBC called it a marketing war as an adjunct to the pricing war. It would appear that a marketing campaign based on the issue that megahertz isn't the important factor but rather how a chip/pc handles various applications is not going to be an easy sell no matter how true. But it would be foolish for AMD not to try. ted
