Elmer, re: John, remember when the so called experts were telling us what a bad design P4 was and how stupid Intel was? Some of us knew what was inside but had to keep our mouths closed. Who looks stupid now? Scumbria. I remember well how most said the P4 wouldn't scale in MHz. At the time, the FUD sounded very logical. I had an exchange with Scumbria, trying to figure what was going on at Intel, that they must have had good reasons for their design decisions. It's funny to follow the posts for a few notes, to see how wrong the thinking was. And it was very wrong. Starting at: Message 14309227 John
