Regarding the Titians...
In a side by side comparison between the first link in your post #95, and the link in Karen Lawrence' post #97.
Post #95 shows a woman in the background wearing or draped with a maroon garment. Now, pay particular attention to the section of said garment nearest her right hand.
Post #97 shows the main character with the highly developed right forearm wearing what looks like the same garment.
In addition, going back to Post #95, the woman in the foreground seems to bear a strange resemblance to the woman in #97, not least of which is that overdeveloped right forearm, AND possession of the same garment in both paintings.
If my recollection is not faulty, I've seen that woman before in at least one additional Titian. It is my belief that she was rumored to be one of Titians many Mistresses.
Tazio, are you enamored of, or related to, the great Grand Prix driver and Motorcycle Racer Nuvolari, or like myself, a big fan? I believe he worked with the great Enzo in the late 20's, early 30's, but left to go to Team Masarati. Taking into consideration his incredible motorcycle victories as well, Nuvolari may have been the greatest driver of them all.
