I think that you are taking a giant mental leap here....let me try to lay out the reasoning here for you:

1. DWSC's business concept is dependent upon a "road-based" transportation infrastructure.

2. Sam is pointing out the fact that China does not have a "road-based" transportation infrastructure - it may have one some day in the future, but then, it may never develop one, due to population densities, the allocation of resources into other areas, etc.

3. Therefore DWSC's business concept is flawed...to say the least.

4. A Chinese "Red Chip" whose business concept is based on "reality" may be a very successful investment opportunity....but that is not what Sam is discussing here. Sam is talking about DWSC and the flaws in its business concept.
