Hi Elmer So, to complete the circle for those of us outside the industry, the P4 chip is larger than anyone predicted because it has space devoted to JT, and it currently has lower IPC than might be possible because the cache size was reduced to accommodate the JT circuits? Even though this larger die size hurts current margins, it was cheaper to do it this way than to have to design and implement two different devices. Right? Have I learned anything by reading this thread for the last few years? PS Naturally, the stock price went down today!! andy
