Using this argument many industries must be protected. For instance, an army must have shoes to survive in battle. All (most) shoes are produced outside the U.S. Must we now subsidize the shoe industry to make sure we will not run low on shoes(or manpower "enough healthy young men")? How many examples can we give like this and where will it end?
