Hi Peter,

The current quarter isn't going very well. Company will probably have
a larger loss than the preceding quarter. Some senior managers have
left. FDDI business is the main reasons for the problem. The
president has lost the confidence of Wall Street. Nevertheless, there
is about $ 3.75 per share in cash, no long term debt, and the fast
ethernet business is worth something considerable.

It isn't clear yet what will turn the stock, as it is early to see
fundamental earnings improvement, but at the current price, you have
to believe that they are in the process of going out of business to
justify selling. I don't think they are; the cash position is a good
insurance policy.

Suggestion to Mr. Penisten, however. The "Street" won't ever believe
that your Company can recover as long as your existing President stays
on the job. Perhaps you should be doing an executive search about now.
