Dear Milan:

How about this idea for an AMD ad?

A PHB (Pointy Hair Boss) walks in and says to two workers, "Here is $3000 each to get your new PC! Go buy good ones!"

One worker goes and gets a 2G P4 and the other a 1.5G Palomino. You see the speeds and the well known logos on the boxes. The P4 worker says "My PC is faster than yours!" The other says "I did my research before buying. Just wait and see!"

Later.

They both walk into office at 9:00 AM (clock on wall) and sit in front of their computer with an in box filled to the same height. They start taking forms from the in box and doing things on their PCs and placing the stuff printed between them to their out box.

Later.

The clock says 4:00PM. The worker with the AMD is preparing to leave because his in box is empty and the worker with the P4 is still working on his partially filled in box. The P4 worker asks the AMD worker, "How did you get done so fast?" The AMD worker responds, "My AMD system is very fast on the things we do and you know what, I still have plenty of funds left over for upgrades!" The AMD worker leaves.

The P4 worker says "I should have gotten a Palomino! Hey, if I hurry, I can return this one and get one like his!" Picks up phone.

AMD processor logos appear.

End

Pretty powerful! And if you want, you can use 2 GHz Xray 4 instead of P4 (to not mention a competitor).

What do you think?

Pete
