Sydney is at high risk from tsunamis. Geological evidence - like rocks from the beach rammed into the top of the cliffs shows that tsunamis in the recent past went right over the Sydney Heads (the headlands on either side of the mouth to the Harbour) and down into the harbour on the other side. I suspect a lot of places on the coast are.
