Live Headline 28-Aug-01 PCB Book/Bill : IPC reports that the July book/bill ratio for the printed wiring board (also known as circuit boards or PCBs) industry rose to 0.90 from 0.74 in June; no absolute sales or order numbers are released. Thomas Weisel Partners comments that much of the improvement was probably due to sales declining faster than orders, but still believes orders will improve in next six months. Mentions DDIC, MERX, and TTMI, but says good book/bill news is already in these stocks.
