The Bush family moves to Houston in order to further George Sr.'s business and political prospects.
Dubya was about 13, and went to the private Kincaid School before going to Andover. He had been in public school up to this point.
After Harvard, Dubya returns to Midland, and that is where he gets involved with and marries Laura, although he did live in Houston earlier.
