Glenn, is EBAY a tech stock, or a retail stock? I suppose there a tiny bit of overlap but I can't think of an aspect at the moment. Ebay sells nothing but the use of their technology. In other words, no physical products. I would not call it a pure tech play. They are part Landlord as in a shopping center developer. They just do not need to deal with appreciation or depreciation of real estate. I would call them tech in the general sense. The more technology features they can add that helps selling or buying, the more money they can make.
