Jon, Jones, and Smith are three different entities. having never met them, I cannot in good faith claim they are people.

I really don't think anything is "funny", but we are keeping our eyes open. Obviously, keeping the quality of execution on Island the best in the industry is one of our top priorities. I have individually inspected 100s of small orders, and almost all seem to be entered individually by different customers. For example, a customer might enter 6 odd lot limit/market orders within the space of 3 minutes at 11.33 am.

answering R. Babcock's post....
Tara's order was entered FIRST. it has priority....
the 32 share sell has lower priority

the 32 share buy executes against the 500 share tara order...

no millisecond timing of any sort is required. In fact, there are no timing requirements at all in this scenario...

the engineers sweater was olive....

now, if you will all excuse me, I have to get back to work... :)
