So, are we prepared to scrap freedom of speech and freedom of religion because of dislike for the message? I would prefer you clarify your position on punishing speech from the pulpit before going on to speak of common courtesy. Anyway, there are arguments favoring acceptance or tolerance of homosexuality, but you have failed to make them. No one said homosexuals are not people. So are criminals, or the insane. We cannot settle the matter through such loose argumentation. Nor is intelligent to say that calling homosexuals abnormal is close to making the same charge of any other group. One might just as well say that the denunciation of avarice, or deploring of racial prejudice from the pulpit will lead to slander of Moslems or Jews. Please, politically correct sentiment is not enough to carry an argument......
