Well, if it was good news, then it wouldn't surprise me that they'd give an update an IDF. But this is bad news for AMD, that they'll come in at the low end of what was thought to be a pretty conservative range. My only guess is that Jerry got loose lips at IDF and AMD felt compelled to make a release to comply with Reg FD.
