In the local VZ store, there is one person ( appears to be in early 30s) that seems to know a lot about the system and the phones and has been there a long time. The others seem to be mainly order takers with limited knowledge. I have talked to this person several times in the last year and he knows the system and phones quite well. I was in the store a few nights ago when the Nokia phones had just reappeared. I waited to talk to him while he helped two prior customers. Both were interested in the Nokia phone and he told them not to consider Nokia unless they just had to have the name and did not care how well it worked or did not work. Have to realize that is a low end phone with NO extra features. Pretty detailed discussion of the phones and knew about the chipsets and the problem with the sync buffer problem with the Nokia. The phones can be flashed and the problem fixed but Nokia does not want to do that. Interesting stories about the history of Nokia and VZ. He can go back to the first Nokia phone in VZ, old air touch area.
