Ali, Re: "P4 MegaHerz is deceptive since it does
not improve the final customer's metrics, which is
raw performance."

In Intel's keynote speeches at IDF, Paul Otellini spoke for a long time on getting computers "beyond megahertz". Obviously, you have not been paying attention, and you are confusing marketing and branding with active frequency deception. Like I've said before, marketing people try to give consumers more of what they want, not the other way around. Consumers want megahertz, so Intel passively urges high speed processors on the market. But representatives from Intel have said multiple times that frequency is not the only way to measure performance. In Otellini's keynote, he mentions ways that Intel is improving performance in the rest of the system. He says, "Ghz are good, but not sufficient." I think Otellini has hit the nail right on the head. If AMD goes ahead with using model numbers to confuse the consumer into buying their product, then they are the deceptive ones.
