There was some Washington mouthpiece the other day that was quoted as saying something like 'We just don't believe that canadians would do anything rotten' , i.e. retaliate in any way for this attack on a principal industry ... well we heard that loud and clear, and we know what it really means - 'We can stomp all over them any time we feel like it' ..... but this is a theory as yet unproven, and not at all a sure bet - the FOs already make big bucks trading with us, and their Big Oil would like to run pipelines through our tribal lands, n'est-ce pas ... we also pretty much control the stand-up comic industry north of the Río Bravo, think about that for a minute, eh ... do they want free trade, or don't they, which is it ... their response to that question will be a sign of the times |
