Richard: Agree with you, but I CAN'T diversify (!!) All my DD portfolio is in IPM! And that itself constitutes 3/4 of my entire portfolio. The only other shares I own, I either CAN'T sell (Redell Mining, a real pooch, halted for over a year now) or WON'T sell (Thermo Tech technologies, bought 5000 @ 50cents, now at $2 5/8) - the latter is a long term investment for me, and so is my IPM ... My investment style is "no pain, no gain", it may not be the safest and certainly isn't for everyone, but I took my best shot (which was to go for IPM big time) and I've certainly lived with some recent pain (my average price is above $8), now I'm looking forward to some gain!
