Albert,

Intel is being truthfull about the Mhz.

AMD failed with the PR crap a few years ago.

They will fail again.

In fact because AMD is pulling out the fake Mhz ploy this is bad news for the longs.

Although a few idiots believe AMD is holding back faster chips in some sort of brilliant tactical move.

Now AMD is introducing fake modelhertz - and one can ask why? - the reason is CLEAR - palomino SUCKS on frequency scaling.

And for those desperately waiting for Hammer.

If hammer was just around the corner at competitive mhz to PIV - do u think AMD would be going the fake modelhertz route?

AMD must have seen the writing on the wall and is now planning the modelhertz intro in a last ditch attempt to keep ASP's above $70 for Q4.

When u couple the hyperthreading technology - where u have an addition 20-30% potential improvement you have AMD in a desperate situation.

AMD is in a world of hertz right now!!!

regards,

Kash
