JC <edited> the problem here is not pr rating, I think, but rather that amd gone the long way since then in establishing it's reputation. Any reminder about the time when amd sucked is not needed. I do not buy into the idea that "MHz sells" and hence amd model numbers are just as useless as MHz what amd probably needed to do is to get together with partners and sponsor 3rd party organization to establish standard uniform benchmarking for performance. Those benchmarks, in turn, can be used to advertize. There is no need for diorect comperison with intel while there are no standards for benchmarking Regards -Albert
