Venkie - GW is a very nice man but he clearly hasn't got the first idea what to do in these circumstances facing as we are a virtual collapse of the global economy.

He shoudl in my view have had a Sec of the Treasury who let us say didn't seem to find handling the ecoonomy "challenging". Whoever that was should have called an emergency meeting of his opposite numbers in EU JP and Asia.
quietly of course but it shoul have been done. There should have been concerted action to repair the damage done by the geriatrics at the Fed. OK the Pres cannot fire them but you can get around them but you have to be very strong and firm and have the confidence of the other World leaders.

I think GW could do this because he is potentially a strong President but he has the wrong team except for Cheney and I am afraid to say that he doesn't know he should be doing this and that is the scary part.

Best regards,

L
