Frank, I have been waiting for too long and have become a doubting optimist. A note that I have taped to my monitor says, "Suppress those urges that tend to make you too early!". I am doing better with this, but I probably still need another level or two of urge suppression to get the timing right. OTOH, it's not necessary to play it exactly right in order to make money, which is the important thing. Being on board when the real thing comes will make all this jockeying for position look inconsequential, but I have noticed that holding a losing position while waiting can make one emotionally vulnerable. Finding myself holding a losing position has not been uncommon during the past three years in the gold stock market and although there have been few losing trades, there have been times when I doubted my sanity for the attempt. The past 10 months have been much easier by comparison, but I'm still looking over my shoulder.
