(MUCP.OB) announced today that its next-generation V5 Internet Access Device will be shown in public for the first time September 9-12th by uData Net Corporation, Ft. Worth, Texas, at the Automatic Meter Reading Association 2001 International Symposium in Quebec City, Canada. The AMRA Symposium is the largest utility industry tradeshow dedicated to the collection of utility industry data and automated meter reading. It is attended by many of the world's largest energy industry companies.

In a previous press release dated February 22, 2001, MSU Devices announced a strategic relationship with uData Net. uData Net's uD3 technology allows utilities to perform remote meter reading via its new ``eReader'' application, and enables homeowners and utility companies to control home appliances remotely. uData Net intends to integrate its uD3 technology with MSU Devices' V5 Internet access device so as to allow homeowners and utility companies to communicate vital energy management information with each other via the Internet.
