Datek has been incapable of executing market orders this morning so far. From 9:40 to now I have had three market orders, only after 3-4 minutes later canceled and got a time-out message. The cancel result also slow. What is the use of a broker if it can't execute any orders? Who will be responsible for the loss resulting from this? From a customer's point, Datek needs to improve its slowness at the market open, at least not worse than other brokers. There will be other brokers capable of fast execution. I am considering cyber-trader. A several dollars save in commissiom is not a big deal, compared with the loss resulting from the flaw in executions.
