<My take on his view of the Telecosm is that it's strong as ever; just (temporarily) hidden beneath the grinding and screeching noise of the world working through the economic challenges. >

Cyberspace is booming. What's changed is the irrational exuberance where people were buying shares with no sensible expectation of having any return on the investment [as far as I could see].

Managers of cyberspace companies are going to have to manage their resources more frugally now and employees will have to earn their keep instead of just cashing in stock option profits. Investors are not now going to throw money at any crackpot scheme... I will check crackpot.com
... figures... I see there is just black hole there [but I found a little </html place in the top left corner] obviously some crackpots have been there. It shows every cyberspace niche is being filled, with or without profit.

I agree, the telecosm is booming. But in places and with valuations where a reasonable return on investment can be expected. That's good because it means less waste.

I have no opinion on Global Crossing.
