Hi Clint,

I do think that we will revisit the lows of April... or reach very close to it. Problem with the current crop of CEO's (Chambers included) is that they are trying to take a point and draw the conclusion of a recovery. So, when the real turn around comes around, street will not be trusting Chambers. Everytime I see Chambers being mentioned as the CEO who saw the downturn, I chuckle..... he missed it by a mile. He was guiding analysts 70% when the bottom was falling apart.

IMHO most of the tech companies have to readjust their expenses to 98 levels before resuming about 15% growth rate. CSCO is getting there.. SUNW bothers me since they refuse to believe that the downturn is for real and when the recovery phase starts revenue base will be smaller than the one they saw in 99 and 00.

Later,

Suresh
