The first thing let's do: Let's veto the entire $5 billion "farm support" bill and say "Senators: It's now zero. Get 67 override votes if you can."

That would set the stage for corporate subsidies and "pet" programs. And you CAN save $20 billion a year, and much, much more.

And they know if they over-ride that the 2002 election is "nationalized" by default.
