I made the mistake of subscribing to theStreet.com a while ago and got a good discount on a long term rate. So I still get the rag.

I was outraged that they'd have the gall to provide a platform for a shill like Ben Stein. Here's the text of my immediate response to Cramer & Cie. when the first Stein lies hit the sheet:

Sirs,

I am extremely disappointed that you would provide a bully pulpit for a lying ideologue like Ben Stein. As Stein clearly has stated in the past, Southern California is a great place to be if you are a con artist. He's prima facie evidence that the shoe fits. Desist from using his propaganda. I relish reading theStreet.com for the insights I can glean from your intelligent writers. Stein has absolutely nothing to offer me except a corrupt agenda masked in smarmy prose. I can't believe you'd lower your standards to such an extent.

I'd advise you to realize that Stein is shilling for the GOP/Bushista establishment and that they intend to do as much damage as possible to the "new economy" so that they can buy it for pennies on the dollar. Don't be taken in by their duplicity and deviousness.
