tc, re: error message. Unfortunately, it's back. Will wait for the weekend & continue with the list. I might also see if I can get any info from the tech at the place that assembled my computer. Will let you know. BTW I get into Safe mode by pressing the control key after the beep, until the start menu appears (101 ways to get into Safe Mode :) d.a.
