Looks like that payout will be history before too long. AT&T also paid out since the day you were born. The Ford dividend is certainly appealing if I thought it had legs. If it doesn't and it gets a haircut in the next year you have to look at the valuation differently. I find it a little difficult looking at historical comps since the spin off of Visteon, but using cash flow and book value historical multiples I doesn't really look like a no brainer. I'm figuring half the payout of today going forward and when that announcement comes there may be some yield investors looking elsewhere. mt
