Hitchens either wrote a book or an essay in which he accused Kissinger of war crimes. When Kissinger was on the Larry King show he was asked to respond to that. That was when he accused Hitchens of being a Holocaust denier. I didn't see it, but I assume it was a reference to Hitchens' speaking out in defense of David Irving's right to publish. Without knowing what was said, I'm sure Hitchens does not agree with Irving's views, just his right to publish. David writes for The Nation and is a pretty good warrior for the left, but he has integrity. I may be biased, we struck up a friendship when I volunteered in New Hampshire for Buchanan. We have an on again off again e-mail correspondence going. He's a brand new father, I think he's seeing things in a slightly different light these days....
