John,

I think the decline in voter turnout is troubling, basically these people are relinquishing power that the Pols are all too eager to grab. Roughly 50% of America turned out last Fall and since it was a split election, only 25% of the voting population wanted either candidate. Some mandate. I for one, think both major parties are bad for America and have been voting for third parties for the past 10 years. Another voice must be heard through the us v. them partisanship coming from D.C. I am a firm believer in States rights and think the Federal Government should be severely restricted. Unfortunately, I think the major parties are too entrenched, and America is in a slow decline because of it. I hope I am wrong.
