Sarmad: Valuations are high, global growth is, at best shakey, but the bears have to look over their shoulder as well -- interest rates are down, Europe is easing, Japan is restructuring, a weaker dollar has some benefits as well as real risks to our market, energy prices look soft, and companies have been cutting costs even if this is putting pressure on the jobs market (although unemployment is not very high by historic standards). A turnaround is possible. I simply believe that the fools this time around will be those who bet that the days of "unlimited potential" stocks will be back in town in our lifetime.
