To all that that responded regarding the metting; Thanks for your responses. Glad to see people are reading the posts. I have heard that only 1 of every 15 readers actually posts regularly. With regard to the aquisition of One Xcel, they didn't disclose the exact sum paid, but after talking to one of the reps about it, he said it was mostly a stock deal with the owner of One Xcel, thus it won't effect earnings of Oakley at all. The purpose of the aquisition was to position themselves in other sports markets(namely football and hockey) for more exposure. Oakley really expressed that they are a company that builds relationships with people, not just business transactions. It always sounds nice when a company says that, and perhaps it's sincere. Expect to see a lot of pictures of athelets wearing Oakley's in both ad's and other magazine pictures.
