B.B: A buisness downturn provdes the oppurtunity for bargain shopping . GE's Jack Welsh the maestro & his team built GE up on that basis.

There has been no major m&a activity in the TECH sector which indicates either the prices are too high and or the CEO's have not done any homework about the strength of their rivals. G.E's Jack welsh ,the maestro, built GE thru m&a when buisness cycles took down Cos.

Most of the Tech workers come from the same Universities, same Tech schools. A m&a helps the acquiring Co to renew and refine his gene pool at least cost. Nowadays ,there are more cosmetic than real differences in designs between many of the high Tech Cos.

The Casket Industry is a good example of consolidation when faced with decreasing profitability due to the recent trend to switch to ash generators.!
