My recco is to use the "least" amount of volts to get the fastest speed ... all the while watching the temp, of course ... I recall you had the system stable at around 1.6 without an increase in voltage .... Your recollection is correct. 1.577 ghz at 1.80 v. I was able to get into the 1.7 ghz area cranking the volts up but it was not too stable. Course, I had turned all but 2 of the extra fans off as it sounded like an airplane in here.<G> My understanding is these motherboard temperature readings are understated by 15C. Apparently, a cpu should not exceed 90C or it will be toast. Course, any temperature increase causes a shortening of its useful life. What kind of driver was it that created the reboot problem? Bob
