Like the pres you don't have a clue. Energy doesn't need help. How about working with opec to stimulate the world economy. Maybe he should do what he said in the debate and conduct foreign affairs with humility so our allies would work with us in coordinating policy. Maybe have policy that would help technology with subsidizing broadband buildlout so we won't fall behind countries like s korea in that area. Maybe not loosening environmental controls so we focus on conservation and stimulate investment in those areas. There are lots of things but helping big energy and the rich aren't the best ideas. I wondered earlier on this thread if in a global economy a tax cut would be as stimulative to our economy as increasing targeted spending. I don't know the answer to that but I would be curious if there are any econometric models that are able to shed light on that question.
