"They're journalists"

Not really. Even the the CNBC 'talent' would have to acknowledge they are at most merely "TV business journalists," a specialized sub-specie for whom a very low circle of hell is reserved. Face it. Their primary job is to do and say whatever it takes to keep you watching the boob tube while someone else peddles dog food and detergent at you. They do this by exploiting you, your anxieties, and your hopes. How else explain how Ron Insana can make his way through a segment on "what to do with your lottery winnings" without dying of abject shame and embarrassment?
