Far Side: Agree with your post. While there may be some brave souls trying to guess where to buy in for a bounce, IMHO it is not worth it. Only thing this sort of trading activity will result in are bleeding hands. I see all of the indices going lower over the next 4-6 weeks during earnings season. When I return to the market, it will be for the express purpose of an intermediate to LT hold, not a quick risky trade.

The good news is that the Fed interest rate cuts and the April lows have (I think) put a floor on the market and have told me where I will start buying in. Only thing I remain undecided on is how much to weight the NASDAQ stocks (market weight? overweight?). Any advice in this regard is welcomed.

Remember: in a bear market, the name of the game is preservation of capital. Be patient -- our time is coming.
